MEDIEVAL TIMES
Jousting, knights, a queen, and all the medieval torture devices, yes please! This is dinner theater at its best. Enter a time warp and enjoy the sites and sounds of ye old days. You will enjoy a multi course dinner (there is even a vegetarian option) while watching medieval tournament games. There are 10 locations throughout the country and one in Canada. I would highly recommend a visit especially for those renaissance fair lovers out there. This write up is based on the Dallas, TX location.Parking:
There are a couple spots around to the side of the entrance. It would also be easy to drop someone near the front and park. We arrived about 90 mins before the doors opened and parked to the side of the building. When walking up to take a picture of the front of the castle, I saw a few spots in front of the entrance that were open, there were not accessible spots but they were close.
Tickets:
One negative is that you cannot reserve accessible seating. When you arrive you wait in line until the doors open and proceed to the ticket counter. There you let the ticket counter know you need accessible seating and they put you at a table on the top row. The arena is bowl shaped so the top row is the same level as parking, the entrance and lobby. Since you cannot prearrange seating, I would recommend arriving 75-90 mins early to assure top row seating.
Pre Dinner Entertainment:
For a mere $2, you can feast your eyes on medieval torture devices. We sadly did not do this, but I wish we would have!
And of course more merch than you can possibly carry.
